The two wives, Mistress Page and Mistress Ford, played by Lorna Harrington and Elaina Evans, are amused by Sir John Falstaff's letter in The Merry Wives of Windsor at Derby Playhouse in 1994
The smaller picture shows Alan Smith as Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night set in the 1930's. This was staged at Elvaston Castle, near Derby, complete with a vintage Rolls-Royce motor car, and at the open air theatre at Minack in Cornwall in 1997.
